Congratulations to Blaine Reeder, Kasia Wilamowska and George Demiris who have been accepted as symposium presenters at the International Society for Gerontechnology 7th World Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, from May 27-30, 2010.  Presentations in a themed panel called "Non-obtrusive technologies to support shared decision making in gerontology" will be based on research from the HEALTH-E project (http://www.health-e.info).

NLM GRANT AWARDED TO JOHN GENNARI AND MICHAL GALDZICKI

We are pleased to announce that the NLM has awarded an STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) grant to BHI in partnership with Clark & Parsia, LLC.  The grant is titled, "A Synthetic Biology Library for the Semantic Web," and will be led collaboratively by John Gennari and Evrin Sirin (of Clark & Parsia).
